Shhh… can you hear that? That’s the sound of imminent battle, my friend. Most specifically, battle taking place inside the Disney Destiny, where heroes and villains from Disney classic movies and Marvel will welcome you late next year. Mickey, Maleficent, Minnie, Cruella De Vil, Black Panther, Loki, Thanos… yeah, they will all be there waiting for you, ready for some adventures across the high seas. Wait, did someone say adventures and high seas? Maybe Jack Sparrow will also join the party.

The Disney Destiny is a Triton-class ship launching next November. He is the little sister of both the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, with one main difference: while both the Wish and Treasure call Port Canaveral home, the Disney Destiny will be based on Port Everglades and set sail on November 20, 2025. They’re all in Florida, sure, but a little apart. Not that they can’t meet for a good family reunion from time to time!
New meet & greets include Marvel's Loki and also Cruella de Vil.
Each Disney ship has its own theme, and the Disney Destiny is all about the exciting world of heroes and villains from both Disney’s extensive roster and Marvel. Disney hasn’t specified which characters will be the main stars, but they have hinted that Minnie, Scar, Cruella de Vil, and Hercules will be featured. In fact, the bow of the Disney Destiny will showcase Minnie transforming into “Hero Minnie” in a heroic pose, protecting passengers from the forces of evil - will she face Galactus? Maleficent? The rough Florida Summer? Good luck, Minnie!

Much like the Disney Wish, the Disney Destiny will feature three thematic restaurants, each welcoming you on a different night of your cruise. Two of these restaurants are already on the Disney Wish: Worlds of Marvel and 1923.
However, there’s a new addition created specifically for the Disney Destiny called Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King. This dining experience/show will retell the story of one of the best Disney movies of all time. The idea of enjoying thematic food while listening to “Circle of Life” and “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” just sounds way too cool. Yep, sign me up.
Yes, we know, Marvel is already big, but it will be giganormeous inside the Disney Destiny! Not only Worlds of Marvel is one of the three rotational dining options available there, but the Destiny will even feature a huge suite inspired by the Stark Tower. We all know that Tony Stark loves luxury, so can you imagine what you will find there? I hope it comes with Jarvis and he can make my breakfast.
The Disney Destiny will also be home to The Sanctum, a bar inspired by Doctor Strange where magic takes center stage. I expect this lounge will receive some nice touches and have a really fun atmosphere, similar to the Haunted Mansion Parlor and Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge.

I know that there is a huge fandom that loves Hercules out there, so those people will be happy to know that a brand new show is coming to Disney Destiny. The show, for now titled Disney Hercules, will be a retelling of the classic movie, with a good mix of songs and storytelling. If the ship is all about heroes and villains, we can expect to see a good fight between Hercules and Hades!
There’s already so much to love about the Disney Destiny. Having another ship based in Florida is fantastic news, as it brings even more entertainment options close to Disney World and Universal Orlando. I’m especially excited about the new Lion King restaurant, and the idea of experiencing a brand-new stage show is always pretty hype. Now we just have to wait and see as armies of heroes and villains prepare to invade the ship in November 2025.
